Special Considerations
Although the Hallelujah Acres Lifestyle promotes healthy living and provides support to our guests in this area, the Lifestyle Center is not a medically supervised facility; therefore the staff does not conduct any health services such as take vital signs, diagnose conditions, offer medical advice, or prescribe or administer medication.
Additionally, we respectfully request that our guests be ambulatory, as exercise is a key component of the daily activities, and because some of our Lifestyle Centers aretwo-story buildings that require mobility up and down the stairs.
If you have any questions about these or other considerations, please contact the location you are interested in for more information.
5 or 10 Days
The five-day package is the most popular and, if you are like the majority of our guests, you will find your health improving by the end of your stay. Those who stay for ten days, though, report that they are very glad they did. In general, your mind is clearer during the second five days, and you are better able to absorb the information; things become second nature to you, and your confidence builds even further. By the end of the ten days, you will surely be able to say, “I can do this”.
(If you have a particularly challenging health situation, you may want to consider the two-week stay. Please check with your health professional first.)
If you, or your group, choose to stay 10 days, or two weeks, the weekend (Saturday, Sunday) is designated as your free time. There are no program activities scheduled until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. You are welcome to stay on the grounds and enjoy the hospitality of your hosts, as room and board is included. However, if you’d like, you may also spend your weekend exploring the region, and return on Sunday evening. Please keep in mind, if you opt to enroll for the second week, the program is a repeat of the first week, however, the menu changes with the second week. We’ve found that many participants absorb the principles of The Hallelujah Diet and Lifestyle best through repetition.
